Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
We recently got back from a vacation in California some of which was spent in Yosemite National Park so without further adieu please criticize to your hearts content (just be constructive), also I know I should only post 3 at a time but I have so many I'm gonna post 4 so just bare with me

1) A picture of Half Dome Blurred out

Half Dome (sort of) by EmMcCon, on Flickr

2) Golden Gate Bridge (from the top of the presidio) also I am aware the boat is distracting I was just too lazy to edit it out

3) I know the sky is all white it's San Fransisco the fog was coming in

4) I'm not sure what I like so much about this one it was just a last minute shot before we got on the train

the EXIF data if available on Flickr if you're curious, along with almost 60 other photos if you want to see those

Thanks in advance,

#1 is very nice, I like that you can still make out the background, though I'm not sure how well the plant draws focus since you have both forms sharing half the space in the shot.

#2 - You SHOULDN'T be too lazy :) This is a gorgeous shot and that boat is the ONLY thing taking away. PLEASE edit it out!!!

#3 - Nice composition but the fence is distracting the top of the building seems washed out, the sky was bright?

#4 - Again very nice composition but I think you could crop it closer, the empty sky+trees is taking up too much space in the shot

2 is my fave, it has the potential to be really good w/ some PP

I see what you mean thanks I will go edit that one now also as the fog comes in it gets to be sort of like over cast but sense its so much closer to the surface you get all the ambient light from the city it's kind of like sun off snow (or at least I'm pretty sure that's what it is)

Are your photos okay to edit? I think by default the no option is highlighted, would like to try my hand at it

#1
No offense it's just not an interesting shot imo
#2
good composition minus the boat and desperately in need of a saturation boost
#3
awesome comp I love tea houses also in desperate need of sat boost and level adjustment I like the fence I wouldnt crop it at all
#4
needs cropping bad and a level adjust

Also I wish I could have permission to edit #3

Oh yeah I didn't change that did I I'll get right on that one sec.

There please edit away

I personally like the boat in the Golden Gate Bridge photo, it gives the photo character. I like the teahouse also, but to me, the fence is a distraction.

^This, why in hell would you get rid of the boat? It was there when you took the photo, leave it there. It gives your photo character.

The bridge makes a strong leading line. Most of the photo to the right of the bridge weakens the image. The main subject is tall and narrow, which is what the vertical camera orientation is useful for. The shot is under exposed.
