Hello, my name is cory i live in the Portland, Oregon area am 16 years old. For christmas i got a digital camera. Its no SLR camera so spare me. I origianlly asked for this camera so i can take shots of me and my friends cars but things kinda changed i guess haha.

Thanks for checking them out.. i expect harsh critiques i've only been out and took pictures 4 or 5 times and these are the favorites i've come up with. I have a simple point and shoot camera and just use iphoto so i'm no expert by all means.

I was looking at your pictures thinking "This looks like Oregon!" I then looked at your location and saw that indeed, you are from Oregon too!

I know hahah thats why i originally wanted the camera then i kinda got distracted and more amused with taking pictures of other stuff

sony cyber-shot. its just a little digital generic point and shoot. i really want a camera with DLSR.

don't under estimate the power of point and shoots. you're doing great with it. i have seen images from a cyber-shot blow away pics from gear costing thousands. keep at it, when you're ready to pick up a dslr, you'll be better prepared. good job! keep at it and remember to :study: !

oh yeah...where are the cars?

and one more thing. iPhoto and preview are great tools. i use them all the time.

i dont have many for cars.. i haven't really gotten the change to shoot some of my friends cars but i'll add two of the cars i've had.. there nothing special just snap shots though.. haven't done anything interesting with those
