These are both from the Op's blog/web site. You may as well lock this Spam thread up. It is pointless, and yet the quotes are full of humorousness.

So the web site appears to be mostly a fantasy. I guess that's a bit depressing and whatnot. Not as depressing as watching the usual suspects on TPF jump on the "kick the guy" bandwagon.

You know how bullying works, right? The moderately weak kids pick on the weaker ones, to build themselves up.

I followed the link.

It's pretty clearly someone who's new to wedding photography, who has put together a largely fantastical web site. The goal on TPF certainly could be to draw traffic. That would be silly, you want to be attracting brides not photographers, but it's certainly possible. It's also possible that a newbie wedding photographer might just conceivably be looking for help on improving their photography by asking for help on how to improve their photography on a photography forum.

I mean, it's kind of a crazy idea, but it's possible.

ETA: All of which hardly matters. Mockery and abuse, of anyone for any reason, tells us more about the mocker than the mockee. And, yes, before you go digging around to find ancient posts of mine where I am a dick so you can salve your wounded pride, I am as guilty as anyone on this point.

We're all bullies, it turns out, on the right day at the right time and in the right mood.

Oh gosh. I don't know what to think. Where on the emotional spectrum should I be? Disdain (photographer with a developed web site asking for advice in the beginner's section)? Pity (Photographer's web site is a "fantasy") ? Exasperation (why is a "beginner" photography already doing years of wedding work asking us for advice)? Genuine concern (Does the photographer know what he/she is doing? Will they damage their reputation?)? Meh (another thread about wanna-be wedding photographers)? Can we take the post at face value? Can we decide that it is a clever spam attempt? Aghhh! I'm conflicted!

And I don't know if it's the right time of the month for me to be a bully. you know, "men-opause" and all that.

I'm not one of the petty ones that spends time going back though this forum to look for anything. I just find that a sad practice. Did you really look at the Op's web site. Tampa Wedding Photographer | Wedding Photography Florida | Orlando Wedding Photographer Do a google search on his name, and then tell me it's not a troll. This is not someone new to photography.
