Im just looking for some input on my past favorite wedding images to get myself ready for this wedding season. Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.

What was the set-up for the third chunk of images down (purple background/ silhouette)? I like it!

What was the set-up for the third chunk of images down (purple background/ silhouette)? I like it!

They had their reception area lit with purple lights. The light was sitting on the ground shinning up at the wall. They were all along the walls. I just stood the couple in front of one. That is my favorite image so far as well. One of my brides this year is planning on having a similar reception set up with similar lights so I may do a similar shot this year.

Overall I think this is pretty impressive. I really like your artistic/detail photos. I agree that the silhouette photo is stunning--of course I'm partial to silhouettes. I think slow synch flash and some camera movement would've improved 9 imo. In 8 I think I would've had the bride leaning back/to her right a little more and looking at the camera. Her position is a bit awkward to me and she seems to be staring into nothingness, but I think the down the stairs concept is a good one. I really like the framing and composition of 10. Good luck this season!

Thank you for your comments. I do have one of the bride on the stairs looking at me... somewhere. Im not sure why it was not one that I choose to put on my website. I was a bit torn between the two and liked them both.
