For this week’s challenge, let’s focus on color theory. Post a photo of any subject, and comment which color scheme is present. Is it Complementary? Analogous? Triadic? Split Complementary? Tetradic? Square? Achromatic? Monochromatic? See the links below for detailed explanations of the different color schemes. Try to find and photograph examples of each color scheme throughout the week.

Quite a difficult task. Colors are everywhere and there are so many shades. This is my attempt.

Went to the local park to look for suitable colors.

Not much opportunity to get out and shoot, getting ready for studio session tomorrow, but managed this Square from the only bloom in the yard today.

I'm going to make up a 7th: Additive. Blue+ Yellow =Green.

Yes, I failed the challenge with this but I was flying the alma mater's colors today and shot this because it made me think of the challenge. I then looked it up... not one of the six. A boring image I know but I realized that two of the colors present mix to make the third. I learned something and that is the point.

Natures way, the iris. The insects runway is clearly marked by opposite color.
