What's new

What are your favorite laptop bag brands?? I NEED HELP! (Seriously).

Ok, calling on my vast experience in the areas of fashion I can safely say:

uh..yup. I got nothing. Lol

That's the thing... I'm not very fashionable either. Just picky. :lmao:

The one he recommended didn't have a dedicated slot for a laptop... and I don't want it shaking around loose in there.

I've got a SwissGear bag. It doesn't suck, but it's ugly as hell. It's as fashionable as it's just not fashionable.

As far as quality bags go, Tumi is hard to beat. Yeah they're expensive but I've bought a grand total of 2 laptop bags over the last 10 years, both Tumi's. They've been ridden hard and put away wet, shoved in and out of overhead airplane compartments and kicked and stepped on under airplane seats. I could literally sell them both in mint condition right now, not a scratch or tear on either one of them, even the 10 year old one. So longevity is important to consider when looking at the price tag. Also Tumi's are the best bags I've used for maximizing storage space; they are very well thought out.

Think Tank also makes great bags. The Artificial Intelligence series is a minimalistic laptop bag.

Yup. My first Tumi bag was given to me by my father who was a traveling salesman. He has millions of miles under his belt. He gave me a Tumi Alpha Business Expandable after about 15 years of use. It didn't come with a laptop sleeve back then obviously so I added one. It slips perfectly into the front pocket. I've added another 10 years of use onto that and I abuse the hell out of my bags and gear and the thing looks like it's maybe a year old. Even my high quality Tenba bags that are only a couple years old have significantly more wear on them. Tumi's ballistic nylon bags (the ones that last forever) obviously aren't made for everyone as they are pretty "business man" looking.
