I personally like it. Photography is supposed to elicit some kind of response (emotion, thought, etc), and I could see where this photo accomplishes that.
Don't be afraid of photo's that are not "technically" perfect.

I personally like the fact that it is out of focus. It "reads" to me better that way. After all, it is a new year, and as long as we can see the arrow pointing ahead, even if it is out of focus, and even though the "horizon" is also out of focus, we still need to keep going forward. Picture could be titled "Going forward into an unclear future".Hey thanks guys. This photo does mean something to me with it being a new year i wanted the arrow to point out that were always moving forward.
What technical errors did i make? Positioning etc... maybe next time ill get the technical bits correct?
