first off i'll say that these pics are a little old .. they are my favorite ones i had gotten before i broke my D40 (dropped it down a flight of concrete stairs and havent been able to afford a new camera since then because bills come first) . but i had been getting serious for about 6 months ... i plan on buying a new camera soon, so thought i would throw these up for some constructive criticism and tips.

camera used was a nikon d40 w/ kit lens.

for my new camera i plan on finding a nice used D90 body and then just buying the lenses that i want seperate

I like several of them, particularly the vehicles, the machines, the meter frame, the heater(if thats what that was) and the butterfly. Yes! on the butterfly. Do not like any of the cats. Oh, and that nighttime shot with the water!

a lot of your photos are blown out. Big region of white and no detail.
