I had a D7000 before going FX and I loved it with the nikon 70-200 f2.8 I still have. I am letting that lens go if you are interested in it. It has a longer reach with the D7000 since it's a crop sensor.
This one. The best. Nikon 200-400mm f/4G ED, AF-S VR-II Lens, USA 2187

Is that the 70-200 2.8 VRII? That is an awesome lens... why are you letting it go? Or is this one of the older versions?
Her 300 is going to be longer yet.. on a DX, assuming she is after focal length...

It's just the VR, not VRII. I am letting it go because I thought people photography was going to be my thing, but I want to venture into the Macro world.
What are you looking for? Better IQ? Better Bokeh? Longer focal length? Faster apertures? WHAT? and we need a budget.....
Any Macro lens is going to be good... what lens you need depends on what type of subjects you normally shoot, how you light them... and your budget... how about more info?
