Where did all the birds go? Oh!

No birds at the feeder today because this happened... the back yard is still empty, which means this Cooper's Hawk is still in the area.

Great capture! I wouldn't want him looking down at me like that.

It's interesting to watch bird behavior - periodically a flock will be at the feeders and then suddenly all take off. Usually a hawk is nearby.

Thank you! I was at my workstation and looked up, swiveled, grabbed the camera and shot without getting out of my seat. Amazed that it focused on the bird, because the glass pane I shot through was reflecting the windows from the front of the house, but it worked.
