Where to begin

Hello I am fairly new to photography and would like to get more serious in advancing my skills. My local tech and university colleges both offer certificate programs for fair prices to learn more of what I need to know. My question is... is this the route I should go or is there a better way for me to get the knowledge and skills I need to do shoots for clients? I shoot a nikon 80d and I mainly focus on corals and landscapes. I did my first wedding for free for a friend and I did better than expected which in turn makes me want to do even better. Sorry for rant thanks for all help and replies. Also first time member here

Welcome to the forum. There are about as many ways to learn as there are people. It's about what works best for learning for you. There are plenty of things on youtube, KelbyOne videos, taking classes. reading online, being an active member of sites like this will help.
