Ritz has a special going on 30D's. About $700 for just the body. It's got everything you're looking for.

I say that and a sweet prime or f/2.8 zoom over just a 50D.

Dear All,

I thought I would let you know what I have decided and give you a small update

I have bought the 50D brand new from a local shop, as well as a battery pack and a spare energizer battery. I will be opening it on Christmas day and will hopefully post some of the photos I take with it.
