Which digital camera i need to buy for nice start?

It's a rare successful photographer that is born with natural ability.

Pretty much anyone can learn how to make beautiful photographs, but the photographers knowledge and skill counts for way more than the gear used.

If you've never dabbled in photography, I would suggest a quality zoom compact that you can practice composition, framing, lighting and posing without feeling overwhelmed. If you're moving beyond compacts, an entry level SLR body with a wide to mid range zoom quality IS lens or a a quality fixed lens super-zoom may suit you. I know this last suggestion could be argued, but I went from 35mm Canon 1000fN to a Lumix FZ50 and found this camera to be a great intro to digital photography with plenty of options for creativity and passable image quality. If you have a preferred photo genre, pick the best quality lens(es) you can afford to buy, leaving enough money for the body, filter, memory card and quality bag/case.

Also, I'm not sure if anyone is "gifted" with perfection. Behind every great image there are countless years of sweat and tears (especially in the days of film). You could have a good eye for an appealing image but you'll still need a level of technical and creative experience to capture it in a way that draws others to it.

With a limited budget, I'll assume that additional lenses and external flash will be out of the question short term. I'd therefor recommend a super zoom bridging camera like one of the Lumix DMC FZ series like the FZ150 or FZ75 or similar in another reputable brand. I'm not sure if Sony do one in your price range, but they really seem to be throwing everything into their cameras and would be worth looking at. The super zoom will quench the usual starter's desire for a bit of telephoto and normally offer a fair macro too. Most fall short in the wide angle department and are a bit noisier in the sensor but will offer you plenty of creative flexibility and offer almost everything that an entry level SLR can bring. Make sure you leave enough money for a protective UV filter, memory card and case.

You don't state what your level of experience is in photography. If you are just a beginner and want to see if photography is something you might want to pursue, you probably should just buy a compact camera. Try using it for a while, and if you outgrow what it can do, then you should move up to a Digital SLR. If you decide that photography is not what you thought it would be for you, then you haven't wasted much money. For a beginner you don't need to go out and buy the newest Canon or Nikon DSLR model with a state-of-the-art sensor. You can pick up a Canon or Nikon model made 10 years ago with 10 MP or so and have a fantastic camera with a good sensor, features, etc. and experiment with different lenses.

If you are going "used" make sure the sensor is not scratched (and maybe clean), the flash works and maybe the camera has been serviced. You can get an excellent used Canon or Nikon body for $200.

I took these with my Canon 20D (2003) and Sigma f2.8 50-150mm (rented online) and came out with some photos I enjoyed.
