The digital Hassy (now we are the point that Film is no longer the mainstay of photography) will operate and hold its value a lot longer than that car. That car will depreciate like a brick.

I'd look cool in that car, plus my kids would love me (jk, they already love me). If I took the camera, I would look like a wanna-be photographer. Plus, I'd need some lenses. At 40 grand for the kit, can you imagine the cost of accessories? I can afford an oil change.

I just need a car that gets me from point a to point b with no issues. That car would be AWESOME, but if I had to pick... I'd take the camera... I beat the sh*t out of cars, so it wouldn't be so awesome after a while anymore anyway. :lmao:

Can this lens really handle the amount of detail that this camera can resolve?

It seems pretty affordable if it can.

I do see what you're saying. But...

I'd have to stitch together 9 or 10 photographs with my 12MP Nikon to achieve a 60MP photograph. That's taking into consideration the overlap needed for stitching and any loss from distortion correction or cropping.

I'll be the first to admit... megapixels aren't at the top of the list of "things that make photos better". On the other hand, there's something to be said for taking a 60MP photo with one shutter click (no panning at the time of capture and no stitching in PP).

Not to mention being able to make a 30" print at 300dpi without any upsampling software.
