At first glance it looks like the top, though you can tell by the placement of the stem that is in fact the bottom of the leaf. Interesting shot!

Yep bottom and I love the duality of the shot (although I tend to agree with tirediron lol)
Since I got the camera I've been trying to catch the cool light in the leaves on the Fig tree before they all fall and we prune it... and finally this shot
