Which studio lights??? Please help!!!!

Hi all, Just after some advice, I'm in the market for studio lights. Don't want to see my house for it, but want something with a power pack I can shoot outside something with enough power to over power sunlight. Has anyone used the Bowens Esprit Gemini 500w travel kit??? Is 500w enough to combat direct sunlight??? I like the fact it can be used with AC as well.

Or should I go with the Broncolor mobil kit (second hand) with 1200j pack and 1600j head?
This can only be run from charged pack and not from AC.

Does anyone know of any other brand kit???
