UV "protection" is ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY -- It will be cold out, so you won't have any skin exposed.

Well, actually to start, I will commend Charlie for being quite correct in his reply.

Runnah....it all depends if it is an OEM tripod head on the legs...or generic head (term used loosely). I do feel however that with the higher spf, it might include some resistance to wind...which during the fall itself could be useful for windburn as a byproduct.

Snowbear, you would think having the word "snow" in your handle would make you more aware than you obviously are by your response. Of course I'll have skin exposed...I have a face...and lips...and a penis. I mean, what if I have to whip out the wang to take a piss. Go with the 60 for the best protection, unless of course you are using other means of protection. If this is the case, then it may be over kill. But can you ever have TOO much protection?
