While on my trip to White Pockets, Arizona last weekend I decided to do some night shots. While I've done several star trails before, I also decided to try some high-iso attempts as well. I wanted to try to get something new, so I was trying to do everything with reflections as well. All of the scenes were lit by very bright LED flashlights. The biggest thing that drove me nuts was the dang airplanes!

Oh and yes, that's a shooting star on #3! I happened to luck out
But that leads me to another question. What settings do others use when doing the shorter, high-iso shots to capture the Milky Way? I'm trying to find the right balance between ISO and shutter speed.
Thanks again!
