will moving jpg files from my SD mem card to a flash drive destort the files when i go print them form the flash drive?

shouldnt distort anything.

Copying/moving a .jpg will cause no distortion or loss of quality. Opening a .jpg, editing and saving it will cause a slight loss of quality and data.

If you open a jpeg and click Save As you will reduce the quality even if you didn't change anything
