As some of you may know, in the industry you can't be just ba a picture-takin' photojournalist anymore. Multimedia is a requirement at most every newspaper now. So, I, not wanting to work for the rest of my life at the small daily I work at for now, have been doing more and more multimedia pieces to build my skills. It's a pretty slow going process but I'm getting better with each video I make.

This is one I've been working on the last couple days. It took quite a bit of editing to get this guy to sound normal. Lots of stopping mid-sentence and starting a new one. Weird pauses in his speech. Things like that. I fixed it as best I could. You'll notice a weird pause when he's talking about the size of the support bolts. That's not an editing flub. That's how he really said it. I tried to fix it but could make it sound right.

Another thing I've noticed-my shadow.
