Winter is heating up

I've been shooting sunsets at the beach lately, and it looks like it'll be just a few more weeks until the lake is frozen over.

Great shot. It seems like a great, colorful sunset is a rare occurence in Oregon. I've been looking for them all year, and only seen one or two stand-outs. Maybe I'm just imagining things.

Well, it's Oregon so I don't expect things to improve now that winter is coming. Considering the state's coastal beauty, not having the chance to shoot sunsets is a real shame.
