The GRE's are stupid. I took them and did.. Okay. The vocab was outrageous, the math was pedantic and irrelevant, and the science was again often irrelevant and out-there. It's like an inflated and ridiculous version of the SAT, that shows little of a students true intelligence or knowledge. I feel like it in no way reflects a students readiness for grad school, nor tests commonplace or useful knowledge. I HATE standardized testing, and I have to say this was the most ludicrous standardized test I've probably ever taken. Just my thoughts. Glad you did well. Jake

You are just one of millions of people who hate GRE. Some Chinese students call it "God Reads English", which does not make much sense but refers to it's ridiculously abstruse English that won't be used everyday. Lol

It's very true. I like to think I have a well developed vocabulary, and there were words I've never even heard of in there.
