I am a mod on another forum with only 2000 members and there is a ton of work to do on that site witch doesn't have 1/10th of the traffic as tpf. I can't imagine being a mod with the amount of people/posts going on over here. I would be a full time job just moving threads into the appropriate forums

Alex, why does this seem to bother you so much? Asking for things isn't bad.

Let's look back at the original thread and maybe Max will explain why he would want to moderate a select area.

As you mentioned, it's a vanity poll- or a straw poll. These are usually good for nothing other than airing opinion.
