Hi there,

For a small studio (6m x 11m) for still-life/product shooting for all types of materials would you go with 3 x 600 w/s Monolights or 4 x 300 w/s Monolights?

Both same specs such as can downturn to 1/16th. S-Type connection. Variable power in step with flash output. Recycle and Flash duration not an issue with my work. Cooling Fans.

Thanks.

Absolutely 4x300! 600 w/s is a LOT of light, and more lights is almost always better than fewer. If you find you need a brighter key for certain things, the you can always add one stronger light later. My studio is about the same width and slightly longer and I don't think I've ever gone above 2/3 power on my 250 w/s monolights.

Thanks for the advice, that is great! I'll get ordering and start learning. :banghead:
