I agree with Ray.

Don't give up the frames yet. Try replacing what you have with black and white. The white on the inside of the frame on a shot like this will help to hi-lite the colors, without taking away from the shot.

Thank you so much for your feedback. He is one of my favorites to shoot. Always has a nice pose waiting. When I get home tonight I will switch the frame and play around with it.

great shot and nice compo...just a bit tight on the right IMO. I'd have moved a bit more to the right to keep some distance btw the edge of the image and the fur at the side of its face...you could afford to sacrifice some bulk from the left.
all in all...very nice
