Portraits in Bright areas

There is so much misinformation on this forum, that is scares me. I think that if you can't be helpful, then you just shouldn't post a reply.

On the other hand, if you seem to be too complicated, then YOU are not helpful so why post a reply?

The simpler answer is manually set the ISO at 100, put on a polarizer which is more likely to be in any camera case to reduce exposure and then use an on-camera flash.
