I've had a heck of a time editing these. They have probably been done over at least 10 times a piece. Somehow they look fine on my computer, and then when I view them on my iPad or cell phone the backgrounds look TERRIBLE. I would love any c&c you have to offer. 1 2 3 4 5

The last one the shadow of the phone chord is bothering me a bit. Its a little strong. Perhaps you could have taken a picture same pose without phone and through that in there and masked out the shadow….

The BG is very strong in black really punches the women out. I a not sure what you don't like about it because all it is black. Did you want more detail in the BG?

#1 the whites seam to be blown out on her right arm and blends right into her face.

# 2 is pretty good but for some reason her legs don't look right. Here left leg is bent in away that makes it look like its broken. Maybe its the illusion of it because of the lighting. The back of her the light falls of very fast giving her are a flat look. perhaps put some small fill light on the back of her ???

thats all I could critique right now I gotta take this call...

Thanks for your thoughts I'll see what I can do to incorporate them into my editing. The background issue should be fixed. I actually had to piece some in because my background didn't always cover the entire shot. Besides that- even though I did my best to sweep up the location, what started as a nice clean backdrop QUICKLY turned into a dirty dust covered mess. Originally I just tried to take out parts, and it looked fine/completely black on the iMac but on my phone it was really noticeable. So I went ahead and did my best to sit there and tediously clone out the dust that accumulated.

You don't. CS comes with Adobe camera raw, which will handle it.

I have aperture 3 to use with it so I've been opening the RAW's in aperture and then sending to cs6....
