2 Part Question... What are your thoughts?

Here's my (quick) take:

View attachment 48000

I cut a section of the right foreground, pasted it over, stretched it to fit (including covering the distracting light area), erased where it intruded onto the model's arm, cloned out the flowers and applied a gaussian blur to match the rest of the DOF area and flattened. Then I cut out part of the plantain(?) @ front left, pasted it in just below the line where the DOF blur appears to start and overlapping the blurred area. It seems to work pretty well for a quickie. :)

I'll have to play with it. Thanks for taking the time to demo! :sillysmi:

Her left leg is twisted inward? Look at her left knee...

I know it is.

I'm gonna be up all night working on this damn street.

Said the hooker to the cop....:smileys:

:biglaugh:

I totally set myself up for that one and didn't even see it coming. HAHAHA! :lmao:

What was so appealing in the first place? Lol. Multiple people have pointed out the classic peepee dance stance and I am having trouble seeing why out of all that greenery you had her stand there.. with the twotone uneven foliage and concrete issue.

Cause I've never been one to follow the norm of what's been set for me here?

I like it. I like awkward posing sometimes. I like the setting minus the street. You're allowed not to like it. :sexywink:

Fair enough! I don't dislike necessarily ... but don't love. I know my pp limits so I'd have likely tried to avoid that. Lol my cloning is horrendous .

I didn't think the cloning was obvious enough to worry about. I didn't even see it until the big reveal.

The layout of the frame strikes me as sub-optimal, though, for reasons similar to what Derrel said.

As is mine for the most part... but I'm a masochist... and I enjoy a challenge.

I get pissed about it first... but when I figure it out I enjoy it. :biglaugh:

I think its a nice image. Im not sure why people think she was pasted in, they clearly doesn't understand DOF lol.
Besides that, the only thing i dont like about is how she bends the had on the right side of her face. great shooting!

Erose... Did you try many samples of different sizes from multiple locations? I found that good cloning is mostly making it unclear where the origin sources are.

Yeah I'm just impatient.

Okay **NOW** inspect it... Do you see anything that bothers you?

I'm looking for a specific answer here. But I'm not gonna tell you what it is, because I wanna see what you all say.

I'm late to the party, but first glance, I don't like the composition / framing... she's looking off in the disaffected album cover pose, but there's nothing to be looking at. Either frame her to the left so we can lose that dead space, or frame her to the right, so it can be intentionally omitted. I'd probably like this shot better composed landscape with her framed to the right third or quarter or even fifth line.

On closer inspection, you seem to have focused on the clover in front of her and missed focus on her eyes.

Once I read far enough to see you cloned out he road... I think if you cloned it from the darker tones at the bottom it would work better, as you wouldn't have the bright area to the right competing for attention with the subject.
