the big kicker is i do not even fully know how to use them. its gonna take awhile.

HaHa, Let me shut up.:blushing:

all that great stuff means nothing if i cant use it...perhaps i should buy guides on how to use it. lol. ps i love your state. wife and i went to New Orleans last april...might make it a yearly thing. truly love the people...and food down there.

Nawlins is charming. Been there several times and all are fond memories. I think I had my Pentax K1000 SLR on 1990 trip. I'll look for a decent pic to share. Saw Grateful Dead there at Saenger Theater in '79. Saw Rolling Stones at Superdome in '81.

BTW, don't get me started on the food. I've had great cajun food in Baton Rouge and Lafayette too.

I landed in Boston once. We were diverted from Bermuda on a standby flight home. My fondest thought of Boston is 40 yrs ago. My Dad's career was in X-Ray and he went to Boston for a conference. He brought me a page of Japanese writing and the signature of Mr. Kodak of Kodak film. He was the keynote speaker and instructor I understand. My dad got to hang with him one evening. I was 10 or 11. It was my first trip to the airport too, to drop him off.
