Hi all,

I am just getting into photography and had an oppourtunity to shoot the 9-11 tribute in light when our fire department brought our engine to Liberty State Park in NJ for a photo shoot in front of the lights.

I feel this is the best picture I took out of the group and applied a little processing to it in Lightroom. Still have no idea really what I am doing in lightroom but that is for another time.

Shot on a Sony A6300 / ISO 160 / 50mm / f5.6 / 5 second exposure.

Feel like I am missing some detail below the main lights in the real dark portion of the photo.

Any advice is welcome.

Thank you,

Alex

Basically you need to shoot while there is still some colour in the sky.

I like it anyway but the black area is kinda icky.

I played around a bit with a graduated filter in Lightroom and attempted to bring up the exposure and shadows a bit in that portion on the photo.

I think this helps a bit.
