I should perhaps update one and all in saying that mine arrived in the post today - whilst they didn't take much of a fancy to it (in that it arrived in one piece), Saudi Customs do appear to have spent some considerable time checking out my package - I may consider my position with respect to reckless endangerment....

Actual they have a lot more cushioning to them than the stock strap, and that can be nice on a full day of shooting
