Nice reflection and framing in #1, but it looks a bit tilted.

You should have used rule of thumb for the composition in #2. The clouds look plain that's because of the white balance. Don't set it to auto, set it manually and the effects will be much better. The leaves on the top right corner makes it distracting.

You probably want a neutral density filter too.

The lake is wider on the right side than the left, so it look "tilted", but isn't. The trees also aer right ont he water edge, and lean forward.

I disagree with homeless boy, the tree's nicely frame that shot and add a bit of perspective. He's right about the ND filter and the AWB though.

It is tilted, notice how the tree line slants down towards the right. If you straighten it, it will look a lot better :)

The far tree line of this picture is on a hill. it also opens up to the right. It's a landscape, last time I checked, landscapes aren't all perfect lines.

Last time I checked I've never heard of a lake going down a hill.

Regardless, if you straighten it, it will look better.

Kind of like your bangs in your profile picture...... I'll get a land mover and get right on that.

Straighten your camera, it will save you the hassle of getting a land mover.

Interesting.. because the bubble level on my tripod that I used to take all the images was centered. Very weird. Maybe that's wrong too.

I live in Maine and I can't see any photos :(

Horizons in pictures should be and look straight, your's did not look straight, at all. You should straighten it in post and the picture would be much more visually pleasing.

I think he may not be back... he stated he didn't like the forum very much in his "bugs" thread....
