Hey folks, still in the process of putting content into my new site. Met up with some close friends for a guinea pig shoot to test how well i can interact in a natural environment Picked up a lot, and have a few things to fix, but will improve with time. C&C?

Im just going to comment on the post processing. It needs more pop. You need to increase the saturation of green & blue, a little yellow, and a little of orange. The color needs to pop more.

Ok, I'll try to adjust my process a little to bring the colors out more, thx.

agreed...these definitely need more. levels, contrast, sat, maybe even a little *gasp* vignette.

quick individual crit...

1. why this comp?...is this a street they met on? live on? if it's an important locale...i'd take a couple steps right and get more building and less empty street. looks like there might be some nice geometry and lines on that building to work with (green bars and granite slabs...)
2. i would have def gone portrait on this...capture the embrace, or whatever body language might have been occurring. instead we got too much space left and right of subjects...portrait also may have allowed you to catch the tops of the buildings (which again, might be important to them if this is "their city").
3. he's looking away...cluttered bg...scalped him....this image does little for me. sorry.
4. would have liked to have seen faces in this one. this type of shot is something im not big on, so i'll skip it.
5. again, i would have gone portrait on this one. this shot, for me, also has too much blah right and left of subject...going portrait would have allowed you to capture more of the greenery behind them and helped popped some color out of an otherwise grey image.

7. nice shot, minus the chopped foot.

i apologize if i've come off harsh. my intent was purely to explain what i would have done differently and not to insult and make you feel bad.
