I would have said "people" but in this case, I definitely mean "photographers." It's bad enough dealing with people just milling about and taking cell phone shots, but all those people with tripods and DSLRs jockeying for the best spot? HARD pass.

Yeah it was my first time running into that big of a group. It was actually kind of fun. It was a 65° sunny day in November and everyone was in a great mood. Lots of camaraderie and socializing.

One latecomer dropped his lens while setting up just before dark and there was a collective gasp and then a shared groan when it went in the puddle of sea water. The gorgeously clear day clouded up at the horizon just before moonrise
