Available light in basement

Two shots, no flash. I looked hard for a decent area to shoot in basement, left my flash at home by accident. XT2, 35 1.4. Transfer JPEG to phone, minor edit in snap deed.

What available light? Tell us how hard was it, basement sounds like one 60W bare bulb!

Very nice! I guess this ends the discussion about whether a 35mm lens (50 equivalent) can be used for portraits.

Thanks bud. I like the 35 for almost anything. I knew this house was small and dark. I sold my 16 1.4 or I would have used that. If you can keep the angle true and don't get uncomfortably close to the subject, its works fine without any distortion.
