how many of you carry your camera with you wherever you go. ive thought of several times i wish i had brought my camera with me somewhere. work allot of times. coming into work today the moon was low in the sky and problaby bigger then i have ever seen it. was a perfect shot. now if only i had brought my camera. ive got my tripod stored in the cubby hole in back, but no camera. sigh.....

The same thing happens to me all the time. Once i get my bag/case it'll always be with me.

Regards,
Jake

Yeah I ran into that when I first started back in Oct 2010. But, now I take my camera/laptop everywhere. My wife calls me a nerd, but I just feel like I don't wanna miss anything if something comes up.

im going to have to get my small bag out to just use for keeping my camera with me more.

I either have my DSLR or my digital camera with me at ALL times. Maybe it's just the news photographer in me ;)

I wish I could. My day job is in a hospital with thousands of people working, not counting the visitors. I don't have a great place to lock it during the day. Where we park has 3-4 cars broken into each year and I wouldn't want to leave it out in the cold in winter anyway. Summer I'm on a motorcycle so I'd have to bring it in the office with me then. I might take it on some days when I know I'm heading somewhere straight from work, but I need to find a safe place for it first. On weekends it depends where I'm going. I like to bring it along everwhere unless I know It will be unnattended for long periods. (Skiing for instance.) If I had the chance I'd love to carry it with me everywhere. You just never know when you'll walk by something and see the great shot.

I carry mine with me everyday on the walk to and from work. Sometimes it's a fun challenge to see how many different pics I can take of the same stuff on the same route everyday. It's getting harder, I have to admit!

I carry my camera with my everywhere. Because I also been in that situation where I didn't have it and I wished I did.

Well you wouldn't be a photographer if you didn't carry one with you all the time :-). But carrying a full dslr kit around can get tiresome at times and not always practical. I nice advanced P&S with manual controls that allows you great flexibility is a great way to make sure you have one around whenever the situation arises.

When I'm going out, I'll generally have my camera with me. Sometimes it's a little tedious, lugging the 50D around. I think it'll be more of a common thing for me if I end up getting the Canon S95... We'll just have to see about that, though ;) I do have a point and shoot, but I really don't care for it at all. Once you go DSLR, it's really hard to go back!

everywhere.
everytime.

wife thinks im nuts.

I also carry my camera whenever I hang out with my friends and whenever I go out of town because there are many events and sceneries that should be captured.

Agreed!

I usually always carry it around unless it's -20c outside...then you couldn't pay me to stop and shoot

i try and take it everwhere i go like it's always sitting in my passenger seat. Unfortunately the way I plan my mornings; a very tight schedule. I have to choose between photo or being late for work. Half the time i stop and turn ont he hazards and set myself up and BOOM. BRAM!!!! LATE AGAIN!. Yeah yeah yeah haha. Good thing my boss likes me.
