Just to update, if anyone was at all curious—I ended up grabbing a Ricoh R1 off eBay. Fully working condition, including the LCD, and just one small cosmetic scuff.

Due to a severe cold snap and a week long bout of the flu, I haven't run a full roll through it yet, but size-wise it's just about perfect. It's substantially smaller than any of my other cameras, and it's been in my jacket pocket pretty much constantly. Without seeing the results yet, I am very pre-emptively pleased.
