Good thing that wire is there, keeping that sign from falling over!

Also, that looks more like Eames/Atomic 1950's style (now referred to as Retro) rather than deco.

Art Deco this is not, but still cool looking sign. Someone put some thought in it. Finally your sky starts to have some substance. Tilting the camera for me works, as it adds some (little strange) dynamics, but if you like this kind of expression I'll tell you, get 20mm.

Cool thanks. no filter on this one just turned the asa down,I just got my filters yellow,orange and green looking forward to seeing the results.And yes I tilted it the straight ones look kind of boring.
We have allot of older signs in Arizona

I don't think this helped with the sky, actually overexposure is making sky even more blocked. You were just lucky, that at the given moment sky wasn't emitting that much blue light and in addition you pointed the camera upwards, where the influence of the blue light is smaller. I am glad you've got your filters. Good luck.
