Was originally going for a realistic HDR but fell for a little more painterly near the bottom falls because I just enjoyed it more.

Exposures at -2,0,2 processed with photomatix. Touched up with Photoshop, Topaz Adjust, Nik ColorSuite, OnOne PhotoTools and denoise.

Nicely done. I like the scene, and the HDR is nicely executed. My only thought would be that it might nice if the water was a little less blue.

The only thing I dislike in this image, is the "v" of sky at the top of the waterfall. When I crop it away, right at the very start of the fall, it really adds to surreallity of this, otherwise really cool image.

Good catch - I missed that, but I definitely agree.

This image has a really unique feel of scale also.

It feels like an HO scale diorama.

It feels like the bridge is tinier than what it is, or something.

Still digging it!

Tinier?
Tiny-er?

Fantastic eye. I treated the back waterfall scene in PP with a much brighter mask than the front U shape foliage in the front. I did not include the bridge in the U when I would mask the U! So the bridge is lit as if it were part of the background.

I hope that helps explain the phenomenon there!

Adding the correct masks to the bridge might really make it pop off the background.
