D50 Lens Compatability Question

I have a Nikon 8008s with AF Nikkor lenses. I am probably going to buy a Nikon D50 next week if the D50 is backward compatible with the lenses. Does anyone know for sure? I've read the reviews and such but would love to hear from someone who personally knows.
