Do you take break from photography?

Film is a hobby, digital is my profession. So no, I never take breaks from it, but I do change it up. Sometimes I'll shoot cars, others it's the stormtrooper, sometimes still lifes, etc, blah blah blah.

Since I'm interested in photography, I spent more time without it than with it

you know what sucks about this? Lets say it take 10 or 20 years to get any good at this (for some of us even more).
I wonder if everytime you take a break that is deducted or you have to go back to start again.

Do you take break from photography and how long?

Nope. Never.

If I take a break, my business loses momentum.

I don't even take breaks at my day job.

15 minute break? I'm editing.

Lunch break? I'm editing while eating.

People at work give me a hard time about always working, but you know what? I don't wanna be at that day job forever, so I can't stop (ooooh woah), and I won't stop. (ooooh woah). '

I'm actually gearing up to do a bunch of test shoots soon, now that I have a studio space, and I'm kind of stoked about it.

I take a break periodically (meaning always). Not necessarily because I'm completely burnt out but just because I don't like taking photos for the sake of taking photos. I have to have a goal, whether that be completing a personal project or submitting to a publication.

I try not to force myself to take frivolous photos unless I'm just feeling really inspired. If I do force it I end up creating something that is mediocre and it makes me doubt myself.
