Greetings everyone. I started out as an amateur, taking pictures of my family and friends until a local wedding tailor saw my pictures and approached me asking to shoot her daughter wearing her dresses and I thought: Why not? After this experience she asked me if I had ever thought of becoming a fashion photographer. At the time I didn't really know what I wanted to do with my life and since photography was my passion I made it a job. Being self taught I started with a Canon entry model and progressed to the point where I was making some real money, at this point I switched to Nikon after breaking all my lenses in a car accident on my way to Switzerland. Today I mostly shoot Bridal and Catalog photos.

Awesome! I love to hear stories like these. I am pretty much at the beginning of that scenario hoping that somewhere down the road something similar will work out for me. Having your experiences around here will be great.
