First family session, C&C if you please

I was so frickin nervous, I ended up using somewhat slower shutter speeds than I'd have liked. But, thoughts? These are just 2 of a set of ~250.
Thx. Overall, I was pretty happy with the way things went.

Not bad at all! #1 seems a bit brigth over-all. I would try and bring the subjects down 1/3 stop and the background 2/3 - 1 stop. Right now the background highlights are bright enough that they're competing with the subject's for the eye's attention. #2 is pretty much bang-on for exposure ('though junior doesn't seem overly pleased), but it does need to be leveled.

Yeah, what tirediron said seems about right...the first shot looks too bright overall, and the flash lighting the subjects seems a bit too much...the second shot has perfect exposure. Good color in both shots though. Very "autumnal".

The first shot is a little over-exposed, but the thing that bugs me the most is the blanket. It looks out of place.

The second shot definitely needs to be leveled.
