First time shooting for someone C & C please!!

He wanted some head shots to use at the plays he does. This is my first time doing anything like this. Please but honest ( but not too harsh, LOL )

C&C per req:

1. Not bad; the lighting is a little flat for my taste; I think some fill camera left would have helped a bit and the crop on the RH side is just a little too tight; you' actually trimmed his hair a bit.

2. This would have really benefitted from a reflector low and left. When using brick walls, use the leading lines to bring the eye to the subject; in this composition, the eye follows the lines past the subject and out of the image at frame right.

3. The strongest of the set IMO, but I wish you hadn't cropped the hair frame right.

Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.

IMO, definitely; just don't cut the hair! (I would get it as close to the hair as possible without cropping ANY hair)

Not bad overall. I'm not crazy about the landscape-oriented ones. Not because they're landscape, but because the tight crop makes me feel like the poor guy is drowning or something.

Just my taste, but personally, I'd back up a bit and allow a bit more space.
