hello,

i am interested in purchasing a fisheye lens for my Fuji S5100. i was just curious about the numbers associated with the lenses. for example, the one i have my eye on says, ".22x Fisheye", and another one says, ".42x Fisheye". what is the difference the numbers cause? any help would be great!! thanks!

Multiply your widest aperture by this number and you'll see the new focal length. Basically it's the amount it changes the lens:

(assuming your widest setting on the camera is 28mm equivilent)

28mm x .22 = 6mm (very fisheye)
28mm x .42 = 12mm (not quite fisheye, more super-wide)

Does this help?
