Flashair III: does it push photos automatically to the PC?

Hi All,

I've been using the eye-fi for more than a year. but I have few questions I'll be grateful if you could help me.. what I do with the X2? I connect it to my pc through a router (I do not use the Ad-hoc feature as I want to extend the Wi-Fi range) I shoot, select which photos (from the camera) to be pushed automatically to the PC and printed without any human interfering

Sometimes I connect it directly to my Ipad so guests be able to view their photos instantly.
I am confused does Flashair do exactly the same as my Eye-fi... I read that the Toshiba connectivity is more stable than the eye-fi..

1-I'm wondering does the Flashair III push the photos automatically to the PC ? to a predfined folder?
2-Do I have to option to choose (from the camera) which photos to be pushed to the computer?
3-Is it possible to connect it to the PC through a router?
4-Does it push to the Ipad as well?

I use a CamRanger (about $300). It's an external device ... about the size of a smartphone. It connects to the camera's USB port. It can be used either "wired" (it actually has a physical ethernet port) or wireless, and can work either on existing WiFi infrastructure or can create an ad-hoc network (if you're in the middle of nowhere ... it still works.) It allows fairly robust remote control of the camera (anything you can do via "tethered" connection can also be done via CamRanger.) It's transfers are much faster than my Eye-Fi card and it transfers a "thumbnail" of each image (almost instantly) and you can select which images you'd like to pull across as a "full" image (that's a huge bonus for me since I shoot RAW and the transfers take longer.) Lastly, the WiFi supports Windows, Mac, iOS (phone or iPad) and Android devices.

I really appreciate your reply, for me $300 is a little bit expensive, & the eye-fi gives me the ability for the photographer to choose what to transfer from the camera not from the computer, which makes the process very smooth, no need to have someone sitting infront of the PC checking the images to transfer.. but thanks anyway I'll put this in my mind..
