what is the difference in a speed light and a strobe flash and how can i find a strobe for my camera hotshoe

Thats right. I rented a 85mm 1.4 to try it out the other day and they dont call it the Cream machine for no reason.
First picture i took with it, i jizzled.

That's the Nikon 85 mm f/1.4. Unfortunately for the OP, they OP have a Canon.
