Flickr issues?

Flickr is back up now, but not 100% as they still have work to do.

to be fair most massive data moves often take longer than estimated and can have gremlins in the system for a bit. I've seen games move sites and things like MMO start up again on new servers and there is always teething trouble for around a week after the change. You simply can't test everything until you hit it with the community. Though the biggest worry is if something in the data storage gets corrupted during the transfer, or has been corrupted for ages but not noticed and it only appears as an issue when you try to start it all up again and the backups are all the same corrupted data.

It’s bad enough moving data at home or in a sm business, as Overread says you can’t prevent all problems.
I dread changing computers because of the hassle, I am currently on win 7 and staring there simple reason is if I change up most of my current software will be naff... I was going to say u/s as in unserviceable but I understand that some people in USA and other countries get upset with that particular abbreviation
