A decade ago I saw an absolutely GORGEOUS Karmann Ghia in a parking lot, painted in the deepest, most opulent dark, midnight blue paint....OMG...I had never really appreciated how beautiful that bodywork actually was until I saw one with a truly world-class paint job on it. I can still remember seeing that Karmann Ghia !

These photos are not really "doin' it" for me...not as compelling as your last toy camera set, which was very strong. Sorry. I do thank you for posting these though. Of the three shots, I think #2 is the strongest, with its use of lines and its abstraction / reduction of the car being the reason I think it is the most interesting photo. In #3, the grass and ground seems more important than the car. In #1, the area to the right with other cars is bugging me.

Thanks for these comments Derrel, having problems with them myself. Printed #1 with the original crop (less 0n the right and the poles cloned out) to 8x10 and pinned it to the wall. Fuzzy focus and grain looks pretty good from viewing distance. Tried this crop to favor the lens flare. #2 wasn't in the original post. Really didn't know what to do with #3 to make it presentable so stuck it up here with the others for possible critique. Closer crop makes it too much like #1.

This Ghia appears to be easily restorable and has been sitting behind the tire shop for over two years now. They are great little drivers as well.
