Mish when I was laid off two winters ago I would literally play SOCOM from the time my wife left for work till the time she got home then I would wait till she went to bed and usually play till 2 or 3 in the morning. It was bad. Lol! Oh how I loved it.

Jac Tecmo Bowl was the bomb back in the day! My friends and I had tournaments all the time. I have all the Socoms and like all but number 4. I think they took it too close to the COD type of game which just isn't for me. You wanna talk about being afraid of real people. It took me about 2 months before I actually got up the courage to play Confrontation and even today if I jump online I get a little anxious. Lol! I'm a puss what can I say.

I've had all the Socom games after Socom II, which may people think was the best. Confrontation was fun except for it's crappy menu structure.

I am okay with multiplayer now, but I used to be afraid of real people :raisedbrow: . I really enjoy a nice long campaign and again playing coop against the AI. Socom 4 has a really good one! BF3 coop mission is nice, but not enough of them. The night mission is cool - sniping the hostage takers on two buses? Great stuff!

My wife and I are cracking up over all of your comments. Been there done that and sometimes still do!
I actually did not realize I could play online until Socom Combined Assault. Again it was all coop; had to have the real peeps on my side :???:

Love the game modes in Confrontation. Rescuing and escorting hostages to the LZ is great stuff.
Confrontation is where a few guys actually were patient enough to teach me strategies. I remember specifically a guy telling me to relax. When I ask him why, he said I was knifing before any exchange of any kind.
Boy does my sphincter get tight at times :smileys:. You should see me handing over the remote to my wife when playing anything with zombies or monsters etc. (Resistance 3)

I've never waited for a game at a midnight release. I have for game consoles, though.
CoD always has a horrible first couple of days for multiplayer. The servers can't handle the people that are all trying to play at once. So, no need to sleep out to get it.

Have any of you tried the custom games in Blackops II? It really is impressive on how many ways you can set things up. Wifey and I normally play tdm 2 vs 8. However, you can set the AI to any difficulty and play against up to 6 v 6 in all the other game modes. I enjoy allowing up to 17 mods instead of 10.

I really wish I had the answer. For some reason, my 15 year old says he is switching from Xbox to PS. I did not get into the details of why. I was more concerned where the heck he was getting the money for it :scratch:.

Ah, my sons issue had something to do with the Microsoft DRM policy. I guess they changed their mind which probably means the kid will too.
